Tas Slimline Number Plate Brackets & Mounting Solutions

372 x 100mm, and in Tasmania it's a duplicate. Tasmanian slimline plates measure 372mm wide by 100mm high, against a standard plate at 372 x 134mm. What's different here is how you get them — slimline is ordered as a duplicate set through Service Tasmania, keeping the same letter and number combination you already run.

You can mix front and back. TasPlates lets you run standard and slimline in whatever front and rear combination you like. If that's your setup, you need two different brackets — one cut to 100mm, one to 134mm. Measure both plates, not just one.

Order the bracket while you wait. Tasmanian plates take four to six weeks to manufacture, and eight to ten if your order lands over December and January. That's a long stretch with plates on order and nothing to mount them in. Sorting the bracket in the meantime means they go straight onto the car the day you collect them.

Aluminium, not plastic. FLX mounts are CNC-lasered from high-grade aluminium and anodised black, cut to the exact 372 x 100mm Tasmanian slimline size so the plate sits flat with no flex or gap behind it. They fit your car's existing factory mounting points — nothing drilled into the plate, nothing drilled into the bumper — with black stainless hardware included.

FLX — Precision Built. Melbourne Made.
372mm wide by 100mm high, against a standard Tasmanian plate at 372 x 134mm. Same width, 34mm shorter.
They're ordered as a duplicate set through Service Tasmania, which means you keep your existing letter and number combination and receive it on a narrower plate. TasPlates also offers slimline on most personalised styles.
Around four to six weeks to manufacture, stretching to eight or ten weeks for orders placed over December and January. Worth having your brackets ready before the plates land.
Not quite. Regular standard plates are 372 x 134mm, but TasPlates prestige plates are listed at 372 x 130mm. That 4mm matters on a mount cut to tight tolerance, so measure rather than assuming.
No. FLX mounts use your vehicle's existing factory mounting points and the holes already in the plate from manufacture. Nothing gets drilled, which keeps the panel clean and your resale value intact.
