The FLX Signature Conversion Kit is a three-component system. First, the mounting plate is fixed to your vehicle using your existing plinth holes — rubber washers and spacers sit between the mount and your bumper, eliminating rattling and protecting your paint. Your number plate is then secured to the mounting plate using four anti-tamper security screws at the corners. The acrylic cover is placed over the plate face, and the aluminium frame slides over the full assembly. Two knurled thumb screws lock the frame in place — no tools required for this final step. The result: zero visible fasteners on the face. Your plate appears to float within the frame.

The FLX Signature Conversion Kit converts your standard Slimline number plate into a Signature-look installation — without re-registration or purchase of a new plate. FLX products are independently tested to meet state number plate visibility requirements across VIC, NSW, QLD, and SA. All plate characters, registration labels, and state identifiers remain fully visible from 20 metres after installation — the primary legal requirement across all four states. The FLX acrylic cover uses the same specification as official state-issued Signature plates. Install per the included guide and ensure no characters or identifiers are obscured.

In most cases, no. FLX brackets are designed to avoid drilling into your bumper or number plate. Most customers install using Method 1 (direct hole mount using existing plinth holes) or Method (mounting onto the existing plinth) — both require no new drilling.
