NT Slimline Number Plate Brackets & Mounting Solutions

372 x 100mm — but the NT offers more than one configuration. The common Northern Territory slimline plate measures 372mm wide by 100mm high. MVR's ordering system asks you to select a slimline size configuration, and a 315 x 133mm medium format also exists in the NT range. Measure the plate in front of you rather than working from the style name.

Same width, different height. NT standard is 372 x 134mm against slimline at 372 x 100mm. Width won't separate them — height will. Take a tape to the plate before ordering, and check both ends of the car if you've mixed formats.

In the Territory, you never actually own your plates. MVR is explicit about it: all number plates remain the property of the Registrar of Motor Vehicles, and what you pay for is the right to display a combination, not the plate itself. They have to be returned when you surrender them. Drilling extra holes into a plate you're required to hand back is a problem worth avoiding.

Aluminium, not plastic. FLX mounts are CNC-lasered from high-grade aluminium and anodised black, cut to the exact slimline dimensions so the plate sits flat with nothing showing behind it. They fit your vehicle's existing factory mounting points and use the holes already in the plate from manufacture — nothing new drilled into either. Black stainless hardware included.

Yes. MVR's ordering system asks you to choose a slimline size configuration, and a 315 x 133mm medium format also exists in the NT range. Measure your plate rather than assuming a single slimline size.
No. MVR retains ownership of all number plates — what you pay for is the right to display a particular combination. Plates must be returned when surrendered, which is a good reason not to drill extra holes into them.
Around six to eight weeks once your order is approved, and longer over peak or holiday periods. Worth having your brackets ready before the plates land.
Not in most cases. FLX mounts use your vehicle's existing factory mounting points and the holes already in the plate from manufacture. Nothing gets drilled into either.
