NSW Standard Number Plate Brackets & Mounting

372 x 134mm, front and rear. Standard NSW plates — sometimes called traditional — are the full-height format at 372mm wide by 134mm high, carrying six characters. Unlike NSW slim plates, both ends of the car run the same size, so you buy two identical brackets rather than a matched pair.

Check which NSW format you actually have. The state issues three heights on the same 372mm width: 134mm standard, 107mm regular, and 84mm slim. They look similar bolted to a bumper and they're nothing alike in a bracket. Measure the plate itself before ordering.

Lose the dealer surround. Most cars leave the lot with a plastic dealership frame bolted over the plate — free advertising for someone else and a cheap finish that dates the car. An FLX mount holds the plate flat against the bumper with no border, no branding and no bulk.
